“You weren’t supposed to be mine.”
“And yet, you asked for my hand in marriage.”

“Out where the land is wild, the heart is even wilder.”
My love for Western Romance began on my grandparents’ ranch in Sheridan, Wyoming. I still remember the smell of hay in the barn, the clatter of hooves at dawn, and the way we’d gather eggs before the sun climbed high. Those summers taught me about hard work, tenderness, and the quiet kind of love you find under a wide Western Sky.
In college, I studied American History at Colorado State University, wanting to understand the real stories behind those dusty trails and endless horizons; yet, my writing started long before that. I’ve been scribbling notes about the cattle drives I imagined and the love stories I dreamed of under a prairie sunset ever since I was a little girl. What began as daydreams in my journal grew into short stories, and finally into the novels I now share with you.
Though I don’t live on a ranch today, every character I write carries a piece of that world – simple, rugged, and full of heart. When I’m not writing, you’ll likely find me reading on the porch, baking something sweet, or chasing a sunset that reminds me of home. My dream is that my books give readers what my grandparents once gave me: a chance of belonging, courage, and love that endures.
Today, I live in Durango, tucked in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado, with my husband Edward. Though we don’t own a ranch, we’re lucky to have a big house with plenty of space for our rescued family of cats – each one a reminder that love has many ways of making itself known. Life didn’t give us children, but it gave us this home, this family, and these stories, and I’m grateful every day to share them with you.
